LRT ROUTES
This is the first line that opened in Macao, after going through years of MLRT, it has always been the main line of the system.
As the main line, this line suprisingly doesn't serve residents as much before extension as most passengers are tourists.
Being MLRT's first passed project, it witenessed the changes of Macao since 2012 such as new cross harbour bridge, new buildings and itself being built.
This is the third line opened in Macao, and the first line that connects to one of Macao's border.
From passengers' experience, the trip on this line is exceptionally stable. Unlike Taipa Line's cross harbour selection.
As the first MLRT Line with both overground and underground stations in phase 1, this Line used a tunnel drilling machine for its tunnel, which was never seen before.
The second line that opened in Macao, even though it is a small line, it has its own unique design as such a small line.
For both stations that exists on the line all uses island platform which is something that's never been seen in Macao's LRT as elevated stations.
In the future, this line will be likely to extend to even futher, serving Coloane residents who live in deeper regions.
This line is currently under construction, it is about to be opened in the near future that serves the new land reclamation area.
When building this line, they chose to use the method archaeological excavation and tunnel boring, mixed with 20th century and modern methods in 2024 is probably something we can rarely see.
Without East Line, Macao New Urban Zone will be as inconvenient as the older areas of Macao.
This line is still on the waiting list after East Line, but constructions on the line is still in planning stage.

This line was supposed to be built with Taipa Line but now it has been abandonded due to citizens disagreement.
In early 2000's the Macao goverment planned this line to be the same line as Taipa line in the first phase of construction and hoped to improve and increase citizens' transport choices.
